The Path to Heaven is where the Ikran roost and young Na’vi go to make “the bond” to become a member of the tribe. In order for a Na’vi or Avatar to know which Ikran will be theirs they must feel it in their heart and they know if an Ikran has chosen them if it tries to kill them so the bond must be made quickly.
