Outside the electric fences armed escorts or research expeditions are conducted. This is as close as the Na’vi can get to the compound. Here humans, Avatars, and Na’vi are likely to run into each other in the wilds of Pandora. It is here natives and newly initiated Avatars come into contact with each other for the first time.
